Sabia Rapaz (Wise Bird of Prey) lives at the central communal table of a cottage. Sabia Rapaz calls for protection, care, and foresight for a family in transition into new paradigms.

Sabia Rapaz is an homage to Marvin, my late father-in-law. Around the time of his passing, an owl would perch low on a wall in our backyard with fearless, confident, and deep piercing eyes. We then saw four hawks lined up on poles as we entered his funeral. Later that week, an Osprey would circle over us at the beach where we grieved.

Whether through messengers, omens, divine connection, or pure observation of nature, I feel connected to Marvin’s spirit when I encounter a Rapaz. I sense his wisdom, intuition, guidance, and love.
